Domenico "Dom" Farnelli Jr.'s Obituary
Domenico “Dom” Farnelli Jr., age 79, passed away at home with his family by his side on Friday, February 18, 2022, after his battle with Lambert-Eaton Myasthenic Syndrome. He was born on February 15, 1943 to Domenico and Audrey (Bromley) Farnelli Sr. in Muskegon. Dom served his country in the US Navy. Prior to 2011, Dom worked for Consumers Energy as a Senior Technical Analyst. He enjoyed woodworking, woodcarving, fishing, hunting, gardening and riding his Harley. Dom was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Spring Lake and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. SURVIVORS include two daughters, Lisa (John Herzhaft) Jones and Gina Farnelli; great-granddaughter, Jazlynn Groenke and sister, Jeannette Uher. Dom was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Peggy Tice; and two granddaughters, Kaylin Humphreys and Lauren Humphreys. A MEMORIAL SERVICE for Dom will be held at 2:00pm, March 4, 2022 at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services, 6291 S. Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444 with Rev. Vivian Love Kyle officiating. VISITATION with the family will be held 5-7pm on Thursday, March 3, 2022 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to Harbor Hospice Foundation.
