Don L. Herald's Obituary
Don L. Herald, age 82, passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2022. He was born July 30, 1940 in Muskegon to Vernon and Helen (Vrablic) Herald. Don graduated with an associate degree from Muskegon Community College and worked 47 years for Lift Tech prior to his retirement in 2006. On July 31, 1965, he married Gail “Sue” Daniels in Muskegon, and she preceded him in death on April 23, 2018. Don loved spending time with his family and traveling with his wife, Sue. SURVIVORS include three children: Julie Herald, Kathy (Ben) Scheerer, and Bob Herald; two grandchildren: Max and Emmie Scheerer; sister, Darlene Homfeld; niece, Kirsten; and nephews: Bob and Brian. He will be laid to rest next to his wife in Laketon Twp. Cemetery. MEMORIALS in honor of Don may be directed to Kindred Hospice.
