Donald Bacheller's Obituary
Mr. Donald Bacheller, age 85, passed away Friday, January 4, 2013. He was born March 7, 1927 in Muskegon to Frank and Verna (Willsie) Bacheller, and was a life resident of the area. Mr. Bacheller was a veteran of the US Army, and served during World War II. He had been employed at Lakey Foundry and Shaw Walker – Knoll Co. prior to his retirement. He was a member of the Holland Seventh-Day Adventist Church and American Legion Post 9. Mr. Bacheller enjoyed fishing, golfing and woodworking. On May 1, 1994, he married Ellen A. Clark and she survives him along with JoAnn Bacheller of Berrien Springs, MI; Debra (Mark) Pendleton of Los Crucas, NM; Terry (Robert) Nelson; Gary Joslin and Curtis (Dorene) Joslin; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren; brother, Leo (Bertha) Bacheller; and two sisters, Gladys Vorce and Neva (George) McAlister. Mr. Bacheller was preceded in death by his parents; several sisters; and one brother. A MEMORIAL GATHERING will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, January 10, 2013 at the Holland Seventh-Day Adventist Church (11279 Ottogan St. Holland, MI 49423) with Pastor Gene Hall officiating. VISITATION with the family will be one hour prior to the service, from 10-11AM.
