Don and I shared deeply of life and faith while I was on staff at Forest Park Covenant Church. He was one who walked along the path of discipleship with me and we loved and prayed, and drank coffee together a lot as we sought to grew in our relationship with God, our families, and our call to serve Christ. His faithfulness to the Last Call Ministry for ten years gave lots of time to pray, share pizza, and play endless games of Hearts...and he rarely missed a Friday night, New Years, or Thanksgiving Eve ministry opportunity. I know that Don struggled with a lot is emotional and relational issues, but his heart was always open to the Holy Spirit's guidance and his Savior's love. I will miss my dear brother...May he now find the peace in the arms of his Lord that alluded him in many ways during his life. Peace to his kids and grand kids, as well as Ruth and his biological family...his love and passion for them never wavered. Paul Bengtson
