Donald D. Craymer's Obituary
Donald D. Craymer, age 87, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday morning, February 29, 2020. He was born May 16, 1932 in Muskegon to Austin and Frances (Miller) Craymer. Don graduated in 1950 from Muskegon Heights High School and on February 2, 1952, married the former Daesta “Dee” Scarlett in Montague. For 50 years he worked for Gospel Films/Gospel Communications and retired in 2007 as Vice President of Operations. He was an active member of Olivet Evangelical Free Church – Harvey Campus. SURVIVORS include his wife, Daesta; 3 children: Dave (Kathleen) Craymer of Montague, Susan (Steven) Yoder of N. Muskegon, Dan (Pam) Craymer of Sparta; 11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; brother, Ken (Lois) Craymer of Norton Shores; sister, Dianne Craymer of Glenside; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, and a sister. A celebration of Don’s life will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, March 7, 2020 at Olivet Evangelical Free Church – Harvey Campus (6790 Harvey Rd., Spring Lake, MI 49456) with Pastor Craig Cramblet officiating.
