Donald DeWitt's Obituary
Mr. Donald DeWitt, age 68, passed away Friday, February 20, 2009 in Grand Rapids. He was born September 19, 1940 in Muskegon to Donald and Louise (Scofield) DeWitt. He worked for GTE for many years retiring in 1994. Don was a veteran of the US Army, member of the American Legion and was on the Hart Township Board of Review. He loved hunting, fishing, outdoor activities and spending time with his grandchildren. In November of 1961 he married Nancy Economan in Muskegon and she survives him along with 2 sons, Stephen (Lisa) DeWitt of Muskegon, Dennis (Laura) DeWitt of Centerburg, OH, 6 grandchildren, Kara, Gavin, Axl, Emme, Amanda and Matthew. He is also survived by 3 brothers, Roland “Feller” (Dee) DeWitt, Charles (Carol) DeWitt, David (Linda) DeWitt and many nieces and nephews. Services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 24, 2009 at
