Donald Lee Harding Sr.'s Obituary
Mr. Donald L. Harding, Sr., age 77, passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at his home. He was born November 27, 1935 in Corunna, MI to Frank and Dorothy (Frye) Harding and lived in the Muskegon area since 1982. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served 2 years in Germany during the Korean War. On November 30, 1957, he married the former Mae J. Ouellette in Gaylord and she survives him. Don was the owner and operator of Flint Industrial Service until his retirement in 1999 when he sold the company to his sons. He was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. SURVIVORS include his wife, Mae; 6 children, Denise Harding, Vickie Helgeson, Donald L. Harding, Douglas (Valerie) Harding, Christopher (Rebecca) Harding, and John Harding; 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Norman Harding, Dick (Barb) Harding; and many nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, Ollie, Frank “Buck”, and Lowell Harding, and 1 sister, Johanna Jennings. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be held 11:00 AM Friday, July 19, 2013 in Marian Chapel at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church with the Rev. Fr. Aaron Ferris presiding.
