Donald J. Hart's Obituary
Donald J. Hart, age 72, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 12, 2019. He was born on March 17, 1946 to his loving mother, Rozalia Hart, in Muskegon. Don proudly served in the United States Navy. He retired from the Sappi Paper Mill after 37 years of working and in his retirement worked for Advance Auto Parts. Don enjoyed fishing, riding his Harley, mushroom hunting and all things MSU. He loved tending to his garden and would share his produce with friends and family. Don took a great love and interest in his grandkids, learning about their lives and attending as many sporting events as he could. He will be missed by his daughters, Dana Pavlich, Rhonda (Tony) Panozzo; 11 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; siblings, Michael Pickle, Robbin Pickle-Chorny; nephew, Brayden Pickle; former spouses, Dixie Hart, Carol Hart; friends, Art and Donna Dykehouse; special friend, Bobbi Jo Brosseit. He was preceded in death by his mother; step-father, Donald Pickle; 3 grandchildren, special grandma, Ada Hart; son-in-law, Steven Pavlich; and his faithful companion, Gracie. A MEMORIAL SERVICE for Donald will be held at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St. (231-798-1100) on Monday, March 18, 2019 at 11:00 AM with visitation taking place one hour prior to the service.
