Donald Edward Kieft Sr.'s Obituary
Mr. Donald Edward Kieft, Sr., age 69, passed away Sunday, May 28, 2017 in Muskegon. He was born in Muskegon, Michigan on April 11, 1948 to Bartel and Anna (Grevel) Kieft. Don owned and operated Don’s Market and Kiefts Produce. He enjoyed fishing, NASCAR and was a loyal Detroit Lions fan. Don is survived by his children, Cindy (Bruce) Gaultney and Donald (Rita) Kieft, Jr; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Margaret Cook, Darlene (Dan) Houle and Judy (Ralph) Kotecki; one brother, David Kieft, Sr. and his former wife, Julie Berg. He was preceded in death by his parents; step-mother, Annie Cooper; two brothers, Bud and Jack Kieft; and brother-in-law, Don Cook. SERVICES will be 2:00 PM Friday, June 2, 2017 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., 231-798-1100. VISITATION will be one hour prior to his service. MEMORIALS may be directed to Harbor Hospice Foundation or to the family for burial expenses.
