Donald H. Kline's Obituary
Donald H. Kline, 93, passed from this life into eternal life on Thursday, May 30, 2024. He was born July 5, 1930, in Bellwood, Illinois to Walter and H. Florence (Olsen) Kline. Don actively served in the U.S. Army with tours in Korea and Germany receiving both commendations and a Korean service medal with two bronze stars. He worked as a finance branch manager for Chrysler First Financial Services Corporation for 26 years living in five different states with Cheyenne, Wyoming being a favorite. Don was an avid reader with a keen intellect and a thirst for knowledge. He also enjoyed photography and golf. Don prioritized kindness and positivity in his daily life and sharing it with others, often via a joke. He will be missed dearly. SURVIVORS include his sister, H. Joyce Vanas of Muskegon and many special nieces and nephews and their families. Don was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers: Walter, Roland, and Jack Kline; and a sister, Arlene Stewart. A GRAVESIDE REMEMBERANCE for Don will be held at 11am on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at Pine Hill Cemetery in Fruitport. In lieu of flowers, donations are appreciated to Salesian Missions.org, a charity Don supported for over 35 years.
