Donald G. Livingston's Obituary
Donald Gene Livingston, age 81, passed away Friday morning, February 6, 2015. He was born April 10, 1933 in Muskegon to Samuel and Helene (Masser) Livingston. Don was a U.S. Air Force Veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Livingston was a teacher and guidance counselor for Muskegon Public Schools for 5 years and 30 years for the Oakridge Public School system prior to his retirement in 1998. He was also an active member of Evanston Ave. Baptist Church. On June 24, 1960 he married Judy Brooks in Muskegon and she survives him along with 7 children: Donna (Craig) Gee, Jon Livingston, Dawn (Tony) Robbins, Denise (Dean) Huston, Victoria (Jeffery) Pascavis, Janice (Tom) Jennings, Gary (Teresa) Livingston; 16 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Wesley and Geneva Brooks. Don was preceded in death by his parents; father-in-law and mother-in-law; great-grandson, Marco Sanchez; and brother-in-law, Thomas Matthews, Jr. SERVICES for Mr. Livingston will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 10, 2015, at Evanston Ave. Baptist Church with Pastor Matt Sharpe officiating. VISITATION with the family will be from 6-8 PM Monday at The Sytsema Chapel, 737 Apple Ave., (231) 726-5210. Burial will take place in Egelston Twp. Cemetery.
