Mr. Donald L. Miller's Obituary
Mr. Donald L. Miller, 81, passed away Thursday evening, January 21, 2016, in Muskegon. He was born June 6, 1934, to Paul G. and Dora E. (Patterson) Miller in Muskegon, and lived most of his life here. Don was a U.S. Air Force veteran, and was the Vice President of Coca-Cola Bottling Company of Muskegon before retiring. He loved going to Las Vegas, and he loved model trains. Don is survived by his wife Maggie; 2 children, Candace (David) Gould of Hesperia, Jeffrey (Melisa) Miller of Norton Shores; 3 step-children, Greg (Joy) Stafford of Rothbury, Denise (Donnie) LeGrow of NY, Brien (Christina) Stafford of SC; 2 grandchildren, Madison Ross Miller, Hannah Christine Miller; 5 step-grandchildren; 3 step-great grandchildren; and 4 nieces. Don was preceded in death by his parents; 1 sister Lois “Gammy” Frausto; and 3 aunts. The funeral service will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 26, at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St. (231) 798-1100 with Don’s very dear friend, Chaplain CSCcog Frederick J. Monroe officiating. Burial will take place at Restlawn Cemetery.
