Donald R. Morrow's Obituary
Donald R. Morrow, age 58, passed away unexpectedly Thursday morning, November 21, 2019. He was born October 1, 1961 in Muskegon to David James (Yvonne) Morrow, Sr. Don was a graduate of Whitehall High School and had been employed by Shape Corporation for over 20 years. On October 12, 2012, he married the former Terra VanderSlute in Muskegon. Don enjoyed listening to country music and hunting and fishing with his brothers and family members. He was an excellent mechanic and loved working on trucks. Don was a hard worker and a wonderful family man. He had a big heart. Don helped care for his father-in-law, Bill VanderSlute, while Bill’s health was failing, without hesitation until Bill’s passing. The family will always appreciate his efforts. SURVIVORS include his wife, Terra; 2 children: Raymond Morrow, Cindy (Justin Burgtorf) Morrow; step-son, Cody James Stambaugh; 2 grandchildren: Anthony and Mercedes, and a grandson, Jayce William Stambaugh, whom he had a very close relationship with; parents: David and Yvonne Morrow, Sr.; 3 brothers: David James (Lashelle Harris) Morrow, Jr., Paul (Kim) Morrow, Mark Morrow; sisters: Diane (Tim) Larabee and Deb Caswell-Hagger; brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Chris (Lily) VanderSlute, Angela (Joe) Coonrod; many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Don’s Life will be held from 4-6 PM Thursday, December 5, 2019 at Life Change Church, 3084 Whitehall Rd., Muskegon, MI 49445.
