What a pleasure it has been to have had Don in our lives for many years. So much laughter and fun we’ve shared— boat rides, picnics, trips and holidays. Lots of serious conversation, too, because Don took his faith seriously and put it into practice every day. Don’s was truly a life well lived. We’ll miss him very much. We are sad to hear of Don's passing, but know that he is out of pain and suffering, enjoying eternal life with his heavenly father. So many great memories of time spent visiting at Sweet Tomatoes, trying to choose the flavor of our free pie at Village Inn, walking nature preserves in search of wildlife, soaking in the sun and sights at the Treasure Island kite festivals, floating around Spring Lake on the pontoon boat, and worshiping together at FPCC. We will miss these special times spent together and Don’s endless stories, his friendly greetings and his chuckling over funny thoughts and experiences.
