Donald Sokolow's Obituary
Donald Sokolow, age 61, of West Olive passed away at his home on Saturday, January 3rd, 2009. He was born January 30, 1947 in Zeeland, Michigan to William and Fran (Skop) Sokolow.
Don graduated from Grand Haven High School in 1965. He was employed at Thermotron Industries in Holland. Previously he worked at Bastian-Blessing Company in Grand Haven as a Sheetmetal Journeyman and Installation Supervisor for 18 years. He enjoyed motorcycling and visiting the Upper Peninsula.
He is survived by his mother, Fran Sokolow; his son, Don A. (Donna) Sokolow; and two grandchildren, Elliona and Lev Sokolow, all of Grand Haven; as well as two nephews, Mark (Kathleen) Sokolow and Todd (Trina) Sokolow, also of Grand Haven, and several great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, William Sokolow, and brother, Ronald Sokolow.
