Lorraine
This man impacted the life of so many during his time with the Climer Family.
Scott was the first person to connect with my family when we moved to Grand Rapids and share all the different history and pieces of GR. He was a non judgmental man, quiet and soft spoken. He watched my grandchildren grow from little ones, to adults. The oldest wanted him to be at her wedding because of the important part he had in her life. "He was family"
He loved vibrant colors, and life in general. He told me he wasn't afraid because he knew he was going to die some day and he was going home.
I have to admit he is the only person I knew who could watch golf with his eyes half opened and new every single play.
There was a time golf was his physical therapy that brought him back to functioning in the world. Thank goodness he loved it, and it loved him. I think the funniest thing I heard him say was if there was such a thing as reincarnation, he would come back as a golf ball, so he could mess with people on the course.
His family is golden and are all beautiful people. I know he is missed greatly. He is never forgotten. He has left a positive imprint on many lives. I am sure he is welcomed in his new home.
