Donald A. Brondyke's Obituary
Mr. Donald A. Brondyke, age 83, passed away Saturday, November 28, 2009 at Scolnik Hospice House in Muskegon. Donald was born to Harry A. and Julia Brondyke on December 9, 1925 in Norton Township. On June 2, 1951, he married Lillian H. Paulsen in White Cloud, Michigan. Donald was employed by Gardner Denver in Grand Haven until his retirement. He was a charter member of Little Black Lake Baptist Church in Norton Shores, where he served on various committees during his active years. Donald is survived by his wife of 58 years, Lillian; two sons, Ronald and Paul (Gayle) Brondyke; two grandsons, Patrick and Spencer (Nicole) Brondyke. He is also survived by three sisters, Lois Brondyke, Beth McMillian, Ann (Dewey) Phillips; brother, Arnold (Barbara) Brondyke and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Randy; brothers, Robert, Phillip, Harry and Douglas; and sister, Janet Nelson. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held Thursday, 2:00 p.m. at Little Black Lake Baptist Church, 842 E. Pontaluna Rd. with Rev. Garth Hutchison officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Mercy V.N.S. Hospice Services or Little Black Lake Baptist Church.
