Donald A. Grinwis' Obituary
Mr. Donald A. Grinwis, age 79, went to be with his Lord Monday morning, November 17, 2003. He was born to Albert & Alice (VanderPloeg) Grinwis on February 7, 1924 in Muskegon, where he had been a life-long resident, and a life-long member of Allen Avenue Christian Reformed Church. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in the European Theater during WW II. Don was employed for most of his adult life by Hubert H. Smith Packing Company as a meat packer and salesman. On August 3, 1945 he married the former Jean A. Timmer, and she preceded him in death. He is survived by his 3 children, Gary D. Grinwis of Roosevelt Park, Daniel (Barbara) Grinwis of Wayland, MI, and Joni (Joseph) Andary of Rudyard, MI; 5 grandsons, Marcus & Nick Grinwis, Brandon, Ryan & Kevan Grinwis, and 2 granddaughters, Jaclyn & Jessica Andary.
