Donald E. Bayne's Obituary
Mr. Donald E. Bayne, age 80, died Sunday May 7, 2006 in Muskegon. He was born on April 2, 1926 in Muskegon to Clifford and Pearl (Halverson) Bayne, and had resided in the area most of his life. Mr. Bayne had worked at Brunswick for over 29 years, having retired in 1988. He was a veteran of the Air Force, and a member of Unity United Methodist Church. On July 5, 1945, he married the former Virginia L. Baillargeon, and she survives him along with 4 daughters, Sharon Semelbauer of Muskegon, Kathy (William) LeTarte of Marshall, MI, Debra (Timothy) Wolfsen and Tammy Bayne, both of Fremont; 7 grandchildren, Kelly (Russ) Barnes, Scott (Nory) Semelbauer, Shawn (Michelle) LeTarte, Aimee LeTarte, Travis (Michelle) Wolfsen, Jesse (Jessica Eckhout) Wolfsen, and Adam Wolfsen; 2 brothers, Richard Bayne of Muskegon, Gerald (Hiroko) Bayne of Oklahoma; 1 sister, Carol (Jim) VonIns of Florida; and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Bayne was preceded in death by his parents, and 2 sisters, Maxine and Joan. SERVICES will be 11 AM Thursday, May 11, 2006 at Unity United Methodist Church (1660 N. Getty) with Rev. Jim Meines officiating. VISITATION with the family will be 7-9 PM Wednesday at Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 737 Apple Ave. 231-726-5210. Burial will take place in Laketon Twp. Cemetery. Memorial Contributions to Unity United Methodist Church would be appreciated.
