Donald E. "Mac" McMillen, Jr.'s Obituary
Mr. Donald E. “Mac” McMillen, Jr., age 81, passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2005 in Muskegon. He was born February 15, 1924 to Donald and Hazel McMillen, Sr. in Grand Rapids, and moved to the Muskegon area in 1945. He worked at Teledyne Continental Motors for many years before retiring, and was a WWII U.S. Army Air Corp. veteran. He attended Flight School in Texas, was a member of the American Legion and the Muskegon Eagles #668, and was a former member of the Masonic Temple and the Lincoln Golf Course. Mr. McMillen was an avid bowler and was crazy about playing golf. On October 29, 1949 he married Glenna (Woirol) Baker in Muskegon. SURVIVORS include his wife Glenna; 1 son, Robert (Patricia) Baker of Spring Lake; 2 grandchildren, Todd (Jill) Baker of Muskegon, Nichole Baker of Grand Rapids; 2 great-grandchildren, Chase and Alex; 1 step-brother, David McMillen of Belding; 1 step-sister, Sue of Greenville; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother Richard McMillen. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, November 1, 2005 at The Walburn Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc., 1547 W.
