Donald F. Locke's Obituary
Mr. Donald F. Locke, age 87, died early Monday morning, February 28, 2005 in Grand Rapids. He was born August 14, 1917 in Cadillac, MI to Robert and Ethel (Woodruff) Locke, and had lived in the Muskegon area since 1978. Mr. Locke worked for C.W.C. for 20 years before his retirement. On June 6, 1940, he married the former Helen Gardner in Baldwin, MI, and she preceded him in death on March 4, 1995. SURVIVORS include 2 children, Donna (Greg) Walker of Rothbury, David (Karen) Locke of Muskegon; 6 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Frieda Gardner of Baldwin, Maxine Bates of Clare, and Dorothy Edmire of Baldwin. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Roy Locke. The family would like to give special thanks to all those who cared for Mr. Locke during the past few years.
