Donald K. Freeman's Obituary
Mr. Donald K. Freeman, age 84, passed away early Monday morning, February 21, 2005. He was born August 30, 1920, to Henry and Olive (Burcaw) Freeman in Gould City, MI and had lived in the Muskegon area since 1946. He had been employed by Wirt Transport Corporation as a truck driver prior to his retirement in 1984. On July 5, 1941 he married Rita Thomas in Engadine, MI, and she preceded him in death on June 30, 2004. SURVIVORS include 3 children, Donald Freeman of Tooele, Utah, Wilbur (Mary) Freeman and Thomas (Sabina) Freeman of North Muskegon; 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother and 2 sisters. SERVICES will be held at 11:00 AM Friday at First Evangelical Lutheran Church with Rev. William Uetricht officiating. VISITATION with Mr. Freeman’s family will be one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers please consider a memorial contribution to First Evangelical Lutheran Church.
