Donald Lawrence McPhall's Obituary
Mr. Donald Lawrence “Don” McPhall, age 80, passed away Sunday, July 9, 2006 at his home. He was born July 9, 1926 in Muskegon to Floyd and Amy (Vallad) McPhall and lived his entire life in the area. He was a veteran of the US Navy having served during WWII. He was the owner and operator of the M-46 Bar until his retirement in 1990. He also had co-owned R&M Antenna Service for 15 years. He married the former Marjorie Ann Olson in Seattle, WA on September 10, 1947 and she survives him. Don was a member of the Masonic Temple and Shrine, and VFW #446. He was also a member of Central United Methodist Church. Along with his wife, Marjorie, he is also survived by 3 daughters, Lynn (Dick) Comried, Blyth (David) Pierce, Valerie (Mike) McNeice; 6 grandchildren, Marie (Scott) Monroe, Jill Comried, Erin Pierce, Evan Pierce, Ashton McNiece, Alexa McNiece; 2 sisters, Jean (Joe) Newmyer, Pat (George) Salisbury; 1 sister-in-law, Ann McPhall. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers and 2 sisters. A private family service will be held.
