Donald Lloyd Stailey's Obituary
Mr. Donald Lloyd Stailey, age 73, died Friday, September 19, 2008, in Grand Rapids at Spectrum Butterworth Hospital. He was born December 15, 1934 in LaPorte, IN to Cecil O. and Lois Marie (Beem) Stailey; and moved to Muskegon in 2004 from Paris, MI. Prior to his retirement in 1986, Don had been a machinist at Gardner-Denver for 26 years. Following retirement, he became an even more avid hunter and fisherman. On April 1, 2004, he re-married his wife, the former Evelyn Elgin and she survives him along with 5 children, Donald Cecil (Remelyn) Stailey of North Muskegon, Ronald Lloyd (Barbara) Stailey of Flagler, FL, Gary Lee (Deborah) Stailey of Port Orange, FL, Glenn Franklin Stailey of Holland, MI and Deborah Ann (Joe) Huss of Muskegon; 10 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and 1 sister, Kathryn (Joseph) Pestreto of Phoenix, AZ. A PRIVATE FAMILY SERVICE will be held with burial following in St. Mary’s Cemetery. There will be no visitation. For a more lasting memorial you are asked to consider the American Cancer Society.
