Donald Ray Ellis' Obituary
Mr. Donald Ray Ellis, age 54, passed away at his home Thursday, March 20, 2008. He was born July 17, 1953 in Grand Haven, MI to Howard and Lois (Runnion) Ellis and lived in the Muskegon area the past 10 years. He was currently employed at Automatic Spring Products where he worked the past 16 years. Don was a volunteer fire fighter for Crockery Creek Fire Department and was also a former member of the Grand Haven Eagles. On July 14, 2007, he married the former Sharon S. Williams in Muskegon and she survives him, along with 1 son, Michael (Larissia) Ellis; 1 daughter, Darcy Schaub-Ellis; 1 step-daughter, Danielle Miller; 2 granddaughters, Emma Rose Ellis and Acela Michelle Sanchez; 1 brother, Harold (Patricia) Ellis, 2 sisters, Deanna (David) Dyke and Brenda King; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, March 22, 2008 at The Lee Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc., 6291 S. Harvey Street, (231) 798-1100. VISITATION will be held 2-4 and 6-8 PM today at the funeral home. INTERMENT will take place at Lake Forest Cemetery in Grand Haven.
