Donald T. Wishka's Obituary
Mr. Donald T. Wishka, age 80, passed away early Tuesday morning. Mr. Wishka was born June 18, 1925 to Theodore and Emily (Brusky) Wishka in Kewaunee, WI. On June 27, 1946 he married the former Alice Poliski. She survives him. Mr. Wishka served his country in the US Air Corp during WWII. He graduated from Muskegon School of Business; Aquinas College, and was employed as an accountant at Teledyne Continental for many years, and earlier at Shaw Box Crane and Brunswick Corporation. He attended St. Michael and Sacred Heart Catholic Churches. Mr. Wishka was an usher for Friends of the Frauenthal, a proud member of the Portside Model A Club, and a member of the National Association of Accountants (IMA). He enjoyed working on projects around the home, being a great woodworker, a skill he passed on to his sons. Don is SURVIVED by his wife of fifty-nine years, Alice; 5 children, Peggy Cannon of Holland, MI, Paul (Jean) Wishka of Norton Shores, Mark (Narda) Wishka of Ann Arbor, Ellen (Gregory) Miller of Fruitport and Donn (Mary Anne) Wishka of Mystic, CT; 8 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson; a brother, Ernest (Therese) Wishka and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, April 28, 2006 at St. Michael Catholic Church. Burial will be in Norton Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday, 2-4 and 6-8 PM at
