Donna Jean Bosch's Obituary
Donna J. Bosch, 92, is “Finally Home” where she was welcomed by her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on July 20, 2020.
Donna was born on September 25, 1927, in Muskegon, to Peter and Fern (Shepherd) Bosch. She was a member of Calvin Christian Reformed Church. She had been a long-time member of Allen Avenue Christian Reformed Church where she taught Sunday School, sang in the Choir, and was a member of and former President of the Mary Martha Society.
Donna was a friend and helper to everyone and anyone who knew her, and she was a faithful prayer warrior. She was known as everyone’s “Aunt Donna”. She worked as an executive secretary for many years. Working at Continental Motors for 22 years and then at Johnson Technology (GE Aviation) for 25 years until she retired in 1992.
She had many interests. She loved Tiger Baseball and knew every player’s stats. She enjoyed attending sporting events, concerts, and plays at WMC and MCS and cheered on every child – who knew her and loved her as “Aunt Donna”. She volunteered in the SCRIP office of Muskegon Christian School and also volunteered at Hackley Hospital for many years. She enjoyed bowling, golfing, and traveling to Aruba, Hawaii, and Europe.
Donna was truly the most generous, thoughtful, and selfless person. She thought of everyone but herself even in her final days.
She will be greatly missed by her sister, Patricia Bolema, nieces, Lisa (Donnie) Willea, Rhonda (Thomas Hasper) Bolema, grandnephew, Adam (Nicole) Willea, and grandnieces, Amber Willea and Alexis Larabee.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother-in-law, Larry Bolema, and her nephew, Kevin Bolema.
In accordance with Donna’s wishes, there will be no services.
“Just think of stepping on shore, and finding it heaven. Of touching a hand, and finding it God’s. Of breathing new air, and finding it celestial. Of waking up in Glory, and finding it Home. Finally Home!”
