Donna M. Broersma's Obituary
Donna M. Broersma, age 94, passed away peacefully with family on Sunday, July 28, 2024. She was born March 31, 1930, in Casnovia Twp., MI, to Irwin and Alta (Bonter) Whitney. Donna married the love of her life, Paul J. Broersma, on March 31, 1950. She enjoyed spending time with her family, crocheting, traveling, and playing cards. Donna is survived by her children: Barry Broersma and Debra (James) Driza; daughter-in-law: Karin Broersma: grandchildren: Tony (Mirza) Broersma, Rebekah (Brad) Ryan, Kaitlyn (Carl) DenHouten, Emily (Donny) Augustine and David (Kendra) Driza; 14 great grandchildren and special nephew Darold Whitney. She is preceded in death by her siblings: Hazel Overly, Clayton (Thelma) Whitney and Marion (Renee) Whitney; son: Gary Broersma, and daughter-in-law Laura Broersma. VISITATION will be Friday, August 2, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Lake Harbor United Methodist Church with the FUNERAL SERVICE taking place at 11:00 AM. There will be a luncheon following where friends and family will gather to share stories and memories.
