Donna Mae Kyser's Obituary
Donna Mae Kyser, age 90, passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at her home. She was born January 16, 1930 in Coopersville, MI to Orrin M. and Iva M. (Gilbert) Emmons and lived in the Muskegon area since childhood. On August 5, 1948, she married Russell E. Kyser in Grand Rapids, MI and he preceded her in death on September 7, 2018. Donna worked 16 years as a clerk for Meijer, Inc. and retired in 1985. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, knitting, gardening and antiquing. She and Russ also enjoyed traveling to many places in their RV, especially to Branson, MO. Survivors include 3 children, David (Ashley) Kyser, Brenda (Curt) Davis and Gail (Bob) Rockey; 8 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild; and 1 sister, Sharon McKissack. Along with her husband, Russ, she was also preceded in death by her parents, 6 sisters and 1 brother. A Funeral Service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, February 29, 2020 at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 Harvey St, Norton Shores, MI 49444 with Rev. Terry Fulk officiating. Interment will follow at Mona View Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6-8 PM Friday and one hour prior to the service.
