Donna M. Wicklund's Obituary
Donna Marise Wicklund, age 96, passed away, Wednesday May 10, 2023. She was born October 17, 1926 in Muskegon to Gordon and Mary (Miszewski) Robidoux. Donna graduated from Muskegon High School and in 1948, married Robert “Bud” Wicklund in Muskegon. She worked at Bectel Pharmacy, JC Penney on Henry St. as a Department Manager and retired from Huntington Bank in the Bookkeeping Department after 13 years of employment. Donna enjoyed watching baseball and was an avid Detroit Tigers sports fan. But more importantly, she relished her time spent with family and friends. SURVIVORS include five children: Mary “Mimi” (Gary) Flesher of Muskegon, Michael Wicklund of Walhalla, MI, Robin Wicklund of Muskegon, Paula Wicklund of Roosevelt Park, and Matthew (Nancy) Wicklund of Hilton Head, SC; 5 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; brother, Douglas (Barb) Robidoux of Fountain, MI; several nieces and nephews; and a very special friend, Nancy Sobish. Donna was preceded in death by her parents; former husband of 28 years, Robert “Bud” Wicklund; and sister, Wanda Jepsen. According to Donna’s wishes, a private service will be held by the family. She will be laid to rest in Mona View Cemetery. Memorials to the Harbor Hospice Foundation will be appreciated.
