I was so sorry to hear about your Mom - what a vibrant, little pistol she was! Always in there ready to help with whatevr her "boys" needed her to do. I remember her during Steve's campaign - she had more energy than anyone else! And she was always so gracious and caring to all around her. She will forever be missed, but she is now with your Dad and all who have left here before us (which is getting to be quite a number - they must be having quite the party up in heaven welcoming her home!). I work at McAuley and had the pleasure of knowing Donna. She had the most beautiful smile and sweet personality. I always called her the "earring lady" as she always would wear earrings when she was up and about. She will be missed.##imported-begin##Cindi Kaiser##imported-end##
Gabbo (Steve), Mike, Dave, and all: I am so thankful that I was able to see Donna one last time during my visit to Muskegon last month. One of my fondest (and few!) memories as a 5 year old was sitting around the Habetler's brand new black & white TV with the gang to watch Howdy Doody. You were the first in the neighborhood to get a TV and it was quite a treat. And as busy as Donna was with work, and everything else, she always found time to make us drinks and snacks and, not that we didn't deserve it, she never, ever yelled at us one time (that was Shotty's department). She will be missed! I will look forward to seeing everybody tomorrow and the next day to celebrate Mom's life.##imported-begin##Denny Keefer##imported-end##
