Donna Jean Noel's Obituary
Donna Jean (Hanson) Noel of Norton Shores, age 92, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2011, at Oak Crest Manor with her children by her side. Donna was born the youngest of four children to Edward and Blanche Hanson on July 20th, 1919. She was graduated from St. Mary’s High School in 1937 and married the love of her life, Leon Noel, on April 11, 1942. Donna was a wonderful homemaker, devoted wife and mother and truly a lady.. Her faith was very important to her and she was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. She was very giving of her time and love, especially to her family. She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Leon in 2005; brother, Robert Hanson; and sisters, Clare Kennebeck and Marie Peterson. She is survived by: her four children, Mary Teasley, Bobbie Noel, David Noel and Jim Noel; five grandchildren, Nicole Peterson, Matt Teasley, Joe Zuidema, Kristy Noel and Andrew Noel; and one great-grandchild, Noelle Marie. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held in the Marian Chapel of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, October 11, 2011, Fr. Phillip J. Salmonowicz presiding. Visitation: one hour prior to the Mass. Interment: St. Mary’s Cemetery. Memorial: Harbor Hospice.
