Donna Jean Schrouder's Obituary
Mrs. Donna Jean Schrouder, age 73, passed away early Wednesday morning at her residence. She was born June 12, 1933 in Ludington to William and Marie (Peters) Miller. Donna had been a resident of this area for most of her life, working as a cook at General Hospital for 13 years, prior to her retirement in 1985. She had also worked at the Farmer’s Market Restaurant, North Crest Living Center and several of her mother’s restaurants as she was growing up. In June of 1951 Donna Jean married LaVerne Schrouder and he preceded her in death in April of 1980. Donna enjoyed spending time with her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed playing bingo, and visiting area casinos. She was also a member of the Bunco Club. Donna is SURVIVED by her 5 children; Constance Johnson of Muskegon, Michael LaVerne(Cindy) Schrouder of Muskegon, David Brian (Barbara) Schrouder of Niles, MI, Laurel (Michael) Galion of Muskegon and Jean Carney of Bridgeton, MI, 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers; Roger (Helen) Miller and Robert (Carol) Miller all of Orlando FL; her sister; Patricia Cradlebaugh of Muskegon, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Ann Marie Schrouder; a great grandson, Jayden Schrouder; 3 sisters, Helen Ann Pehlivan, Rosemary Nicholson and Linda Lavasseur; and a brother; William Miller.
A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held Tuesday 1PM at
Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc.

with Pastor John H. Brown Officiating. VISITATION will be 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS may be made to Senior Resources of West Michigan or Hospice of Muskegon/Oceana. Burial will be made in Moorland Township Cemetery.
