Donna Joy VerHulst's Obituary
Ms. Donna Joy VerHulst, age 69, died Friday afternoon, July 23, 2004. She was born February 14, 1935 in Muskegon to Cornelius and Gladys (Green) VerHulst. Ms. VerHulst moved to California in 1957. She lived in California for 24 years before moving back to Muskegon in 1981. Ms. VerHulst attended a Brethren Church in Modesto, CA. While living in Muskegon, she worked for the Muskegon County Health Department. SURVIVORS include 2 brothers, Arnold (Betty) VerHulst of Muskegon, Alba (Diane) VerHulst of Modesto, CA; sister-in-law, Lila VerHulst; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Pat Knight of West Virginia. She was preceded in death by her parents; 4 brothers, Lyle, Bob, Victor, Lewis VerHulst; and 4 sisters, Violet Medendorp, Vera “Bea” Goodrich, Vivian VerHulst, and Gladys “Sally” VerHulst. FUNERAL SERVICES will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday at The Walburn Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 1547 W. Sherman Blvd. (231) 759-8565 with Rev. Jonathan Rager officiating. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery. VISITATION with the family will be from 2-4 & 6-8 PM Monday. MEMORIALS to Visiting Nurse Services – Hospice will be appreciated.
