Donna L. (nee McElmurry) Schornack was born on March 12, 1940 in Los Angeles, CA, and passed away on March 20, 2011 in Dalton, GA surrounded by her loving family. Donna was a long-time member of the Grand Haven Seventh-day Adventist Church. She is survived by her husband, Carl J. Schornack; and her children: Sue Langworthy, Doris (Richard) Nichols, Mark Schornack, Joann (Steven) Perry, Michael (Beth) Schornack, Ann (Andrew) Chen, and Karla (Phillip) Wolf; and her adored 20 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; as well as two brothers, three sisters, and a step-sister. The FUNERAL SERVICE for Donna will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, March 27, 2011 at The Lee Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc., 6291 S. Harvey Street, Norton Shores, MI 49441, (231)-798-1100 with Pastor Dick Bullock officiating. VISITATION will be at the funeral home 4-6:30 P.M. Saturday and one hour prior to the service on Sunday. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS to the Child Abuse Council or Every Woman’s Place would be appreciated.
