Mr. Siscoe, John, Cheryl and Gary;
Sally and I are saddened by your loss. My mother told me, over the phone, that she meet Mrs. Siscoe in therapy at Brookhaven. By the time Sally and I arrived to visit my mother on July 4th, Mrs. Siscoe had left Brookhaven. We left for home on the 10th of July and my mother told us of the news a couple of days after we returned.
It has been a long time since we have spoken and it unfortunately comes at such a sad event in your lives.
With sincere sympathy.

We were unable to attend services but we remember the many happy times we spent with Donna and Bob playing gin rummy, visiting national parks in AZ, UT and CO and sailing in the San Juan Islands in WA plus many nice home visits. So glad we were able to visit with Donna this past May. We will miss her.

Donna was such a wonderful person. I remember in past years being at your home for holidays and Father's Days and how welcome Donna, Bob, and Cheri always made me feel. It was great to see how much the grandkids enjoyed being with Grandma and Grandpa. I know the past years haven't been easy for the family and I hope you find comfort in knowing that your wife, mom, and grandma has finally found peace.

Dear Bob, Vicki, Linda, Chery, and John,
Some people leave an indelible mark on the world. Donna left her mark in so many ways. I remember her for her big heart, her warm and ready laughter, and her spirited approach to life. And a yummy broiled sandwich made out of ground up spam, onions and cheese.
:)
I look back at all the times (well, most of the time) when someone from our family was at least temporarily part of your family. Donna always had room for one more, or so it seemed. If it was an imposition, she never let on. Donna gave me one of the biggest thrills of my childhood: a day trip to the lake in her (at least hers for a little while!) big red convertible with the top down. On the way home, as she often would, she stopped in at the A&W for root beers for all of us. Funny how the little things stay with us for all of our lives.
Now that I have lived for so many years, I can look back on all the people that I have met and known. How rare are those that have the depth of character and the breadth of compassion of Bob and Donna Siscoe.
The world is a better place because Donna was in it. I feel honored to have known her.
My deepest sympathies to all of you.
