Dorene Kruzel's Obituary
Mrs. Dorene L. Kruzel, 78, passed away Sunday evening. She was born January 26, 1932 in Muskegon Heights to John and Helen (Roshak) Hawkinson, and had lived in this area all her life. On June 6, 1953 she married George Kruzel and he survives her. Mrs. Kruzel was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church and had enjoyed crocheting afghans and camping with her family. HER SURVIVORS include her husband George; children: Mark J. Kruzel and Craig S. (Shelly) Kruzel of Norton Shores and Sherri C. (Robert) DeMuro of North Muskegon; nine grandchildren: Ashley, Whitney, Kaylee, Kari, Steven, Brandon, Michelle, Megan, and Rachel; her sister Lavonne “Butch” Hawkinson; a brother-in-law Jack Aerts and nephew Allen; and special friends Jean Morin and Lisa at Brookhaven. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Delores Aerts. SERVICES for Mrs. Kruzel will be held 1:00 P.M. Friday, August 27, 2010 at The Lee Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc., 6291 S. Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444, (231)-798-1100 with Rev. Fr. Norman Droski officiating. VISITATION will be from 12Noon to 1:00 P.M. Friday.
