Doris Ann Beishuizen's Obituary
Doris Ann Beishuizen, age 94, passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2020. She was born on October 1, 1926 to Peter and Margaret (Boyink) Meyers in Muskegon. On November 23, 1946 she married the love of her life, Richard J. Beishuizen, and together they spent 71 happy years together until his passing in August of 2018. Doris enjoyed camping, baking, cooking, and traveling with her family. She loved being a grandmother and great-grandmother and always anticipated the time she could spend with her grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her children, Judith (Corwin) Tromp, Donald (Mary) Beishuizen, Joni (Rudy) Veeneman and daughter-in-law, Susan Beishuizen all of Muskegon; 9 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Marilyn (Chris) Postma, Jean (Jerry) Talsma; and sister-in-law, Janet Meyers. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband., Richard Beishuizen, Sr.; son, Richard Beishuizen, Jr.; and brothers, Raymond Meyers, Gerald Meyers and Paul Meyers.
A GRAVESIDE SERVICE for Doris will take place in the springtime at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. For a more lasting memory, donations in Doris’ name can be made to Lake Woods Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
