Doris Lorraine Cook's Obituary
Doris Lorraine Cook age 92, of Casnovia, MI died Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at Sanctuary at the Oaks in Muskegon.
Doris was born on February 9, 1928 in Slocum, MI to the late John and Margaret (Monton) Simon. She married William Raymond Cook on June 11, 1947 in Ravenna, MI.
Doris is survived by her husband of 73 years: William “Ray†Cook of Casnovia, 1 Son: Terry (Barbara) Cook of Casnovia, 1 Daughter: Carol (Roger) Christianson of Jenison. 2 Grandchildren: Patrick (Kristy) Cook of Indiana and Tammy (Jeff) Wiese of MO. 2 Great Grandchildren: Lillian and Elizabeth Wiese of MO. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 Sister Catherine O’Brien and Marie Russell.
A Graveside Memorial Service will be conducted on Friday, November 13, 2020 at 1:00pm at Hilton Cemetery with Father Andrew Ayers celebrant. A Memorial Mass will be conducted at a later date.
The family will be at the Throop Funeral Home of Ravenna from 11:30am until 1230pm to greet friends.
