My favorite and most lasting memory of my Aunt Doris was when she visited our house on Henry Street for card night. I remember falling asleep to her joyful laughter as my parents and other aunts and uncles sat around our Formica kitchen table in our tiny kitchen. It was such a comforting and happy way to fall asleep to the sound of laughter as she told her jokes and made her hilarious expressions as they played cards and ate snacks late into the evening.
