Doris Mae Critchett's Obituary
Mrs. Doris Mae Critchett, age 91, passed away Thursday, August 1, 2024 in North Muskegon, Michigan. She was born in Lafayette, Alabama on March 26, 1933 to William and Pearl (Moss) Abney. Doris worked with her mother-in-law as a hair stylist for many years, but her true passion in life was being a mother. She loved her children deeply and gave them everything she had. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Joseph “Mike” (Cathy) Ogren, Brenda (Steve Gariffo) Ogren, and Jeffrey Ogren; six grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; brother, Rae Abney; sister, Dorothy Sutton; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three husbands, Levis Duck, Jack Ogren, and Doug Critchett; son, Billy Duck; daughter, Dawn Ogren; brothers, Bill Abney and George Abney; sisters, Darlene Veazey, Joyce Denton, Anna Laura Blanks, and Mary Jim McCann.
