Mrs. Doris Ruth Kusz's Obituary
Mrs. Doris Ruth Kusz, age 92, passed away Monday evening, November 16, 2015. She was born November 9, 1923 in Flint, MI to Arthur and Clara (St. Charles) Sharp. On September 17, 1949 she married Alexander “Alex” L. Kusz in Muskegon. Doris had worked for Michigan Consolidated Gas Company for 15 years and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Some of her favorite hobbies were reading, bowling, playing cards, and taking care of her cats. Doris’ family meant everything to her. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and attending all of their special events. SURVIVORS include her husband, Alex of Norton Shores; 3 children: Sharon (Charles) Hall of Roosevelt Park, Jeff Kusz of Norton Shores, James Kusz of Perry, MI; 3 grandchildren: Craig (Kellie) Hall, Rachel Hall, Jared (Alise) Kusz; and a great-granddaughter, Audrina. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Mark Kusz in 2014; and 2 brothers: Wilbur and Thomas Alfred Sharp. According to Doris’ wishes, there will be no services. Entombment will take place in St. Mary’s Mausoleum. MEMORIALS to Harbor Hospice will be appreciated.
