Doris Ruth Lasley's Obituary
Doris Ruth Lasley, age 91, of Grand Haven passed away Sunday April 24, 2022. at SKLD in Muskegon, MI. She was born September 27, 1930, Holland, MI to Lovall and Ruth (Dodington) Pegg. She was married to William Francis, Sr. and he preceded her in death, she then married Ray Lasley and he preceded her in death in 2010.
Doris was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Grand Haven and was known as the churches “Avon” lady. She also enjoyed camping.
She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Karen (Tracy) Francis; two sons, Frank (Maria) Francis and Lonnie Francis; ten grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death three sons: William Francis, Jr., Larry Francis, and William Francis, Jr. on April 8, 2004; a daughter, Kathleen Francis; and granddaughter, Sonya Reister.
A service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 27, 2022, at The Lee Chapel of Lake Forest Cemetery with Rev. Ray Paget officiating. Memorials to The Family are appreciated.
