Mrs Doris DeLong Rinard's Obituary
Mrs. Doris Jean DeLong Rinard, age 92, passed away March 31, 2016 at the Poppen Residence. Doris was born April 29, 1923 to Joseph and Margaret (Gotts) Baillargeon in Muskegon. She was employed as a secretary at Gerber, American Coil Spring Credit Union and Porter Mulder Land Construction Co. Doris was a member of Community United Methodist Church. She is SURVIVED by her very special partner of 15 years, Richard Nyhof; her children, Judith (Richard) Wilson and Richard (Karen) DeLong; 8 grandchildren, Mia (Kevin) Darcy, Christopher (Ann) Wilson, Michael (Tramayne) DeLong, Dan (Agnieszka) DeLong, Michele (Lucas) Wolfenden, Deanna (Chris) Collins, Jeremy (Tara) DeLong and Jason (Jamie) DeLong; many great-grandchildren; her siblings, Joseph (Cheryl) Baillargeon and Virginia Bayne; special friends, Rich’s family and especially the care given to her by Linsey. Doris was preceded in death by her husbands, Gerald DeLong in 1987 and James Rinard in 1998; her son, Gerald DeLong, Jr. and great-grandson, Nicholas Weller. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St. 231 798-1100 with Rev. Glenn M. Wagner officiating. VISITATION will be one hour prior to the service (12-1PM). Burial will be made in Laketon Township Cemetery.
