Doris A. Howard's Obituary
Doris A. Howard, age 64, passed away Thursday evening, March 3, 2011, at her home. She was born October 8, 1946 in Muskegon to Glen and Rosella (Bauer) Everman and had been a life resident of the area. Prior to her retirement, Doris had been employed at Howmet Corporation for over 30 years. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary and of the Lithuanian Club. Doris had been very active with the UAW at Howmet; and loved to garden, cook and travel. She especially cherished the time spent with her family. Doris will be remembered for her kind heart and her willingness to help others in a time of need. SURVIVORS include her two sons, Randy (Lorna) Howard of SanDiego, CA and Ron (Stephanie) Howard of Rochester, MI; 4 grandchildren, Michelle and Kevin Howard of SanDiego and Lindsey and Logan Howard of Rochester; and by her friend and caregiver, Samantha. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 1PM Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at The Lee Chapel
of Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc., 6291 S. Harvey Street, Norton Shores, MI 49444 (231-798-1100) with Pastor John Brown officiating. VISITATION with Doris' family will be one-hour prior to the service (12noon - 1PM). For a more lasting memorial you are asked to consider the American Cancer Society.
