Doris "Betty" Wiseman's Obituary
Doris Betty Wiseman, age 86, passed away at the McAuley Place Care Facility, Saturday, October 16, 2010 following a brief illness. Betty was born in Muskegon on May 9, 1924 to Glen and Gertrude (Lovejoy) Wilson. She married Mr. Ollie “Zeke” Wiseman on July 3, 1942 and he preceded her in death on February 21, 1988. Betty was a Mona Shores school bus driver for 20 years and was a member of the Berean Church where she was a past church historian. She is survived by: one daughter, Rachel (Robert) Indgjer of Norton Shores; one step-son, Leonard Wiseman of Georgia; a step-daughter, Joyce Wiseman of Kansas; daughter-in-law, Joyce Wiseman of Muskegon; six grandchildren, Scott, Tim, Greg, Angela, Eric & Jamie; three great-grandchildren, Amaya, Shae and Reia and a sister, Ila Maginity of Whitehall. She was preceded in death by her: husband, Zeke; three sons, Glen as an infant and both Tom & Ron in 2008; two brothers Fred & Lloyd and a sister Thelma. The funeral service will be held at: The Lee Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 6291 S. Harvey St. 231-798-1100, 11:00 A.M., Thursday, October 21, 2010, Rev. Craig Apel officiating. Visitation: Wednesday, 6-8 P.M. Interment: Sunrise Memorial Gardens. Memorial Contributions: Parkinson Disease Foundation.
