Doris Lucille Veurink's Obituary
Mrs. Doris Lucille Veurink, age 83, passed away Saturday, January 3, 2004. She was born November 6, 1920 in Muskegon where she lived her entire life and was raised by Andrew and Alice Uitermark. On June 21, 1941, she married Frank Veurink and he preceded her in death on July 17, 1992. She had been employed in the Meat Department at Plumb’s Market for 22 years. She enjoyed knitting, crossword puzzles and was a member of TOPS. She was also a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Muskegon. SURVIVORS include 2 children, Virginia Lou (Lawrence A.) Winslow of Grayling, Richard F. Veurink of Norton Shores; 2 grandchildren, Larry F. (Jennifer) Winslow of Coopersville, Marjorie (John) Kulba of South Bend, IN; 1 cousin, Alice VanHaften of Grand Rapids. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, January 6, 2004 at the, Walburn Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc., 1547 W. Sherman Blvd., (231) 759-8565 with the Rev. Scott Church officiating.
