Doris M. Hansen's Obituary
Mrs. Doris M. Hansen, age 86, passed away Tuesday, August 19, 2008 at the Poppen Residence. She was born September 24, 1921 in Muskegon to Roscoe and Alice (Brough) Williams, and resided in the area all of her life. Mrs. Hansen was a long time member of Calvary Church. On August 16, 1941 she married Robert Hansen, and he survives her along with 5 children, Priscilla (Bill) Anderson of Blue Lake Twp., Dianne Yeakey of Whitehall, Kathryn (Clarence) Murawski of Muskegon, James Hansen of Ferrysburg, Tom (Jerrie) Hansen of Fruitport; 10 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Ruth (Dale) Smith, Margaret Cramer, Nora Lawson; brother, Ronald (Judy) Williams; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mrs. Hansen was preceded in death by brother, Bobie Williams and her parents. SERVICES will be 1 PM Saturday, August 23, 2008 at Calvary Church with Pastor Terry Fulk officiating. VISITATION with the family will be 3-5 & 7-9 PM Friday at The Lee Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 6291 S. Harvey St. 231-798-1100. Burial will take place at Norton Cemetery. Memorial Contributions to Calvary Church General Fund will be appreciated.
