Doris May Gianetti's Obituary
Miss Doris May Gianetti, age 74, passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2008, at the Poppen Residence of Harbor Hospice. She was born May 2, 1933 in Chicago Heights, IL to Gene A. and Esther M. (Lauretti) Gianetti and lived most of her life in the Muskegon area. Doris worked as a secretary for Teledyne-Continental Motors and retired in 1990 after 38 years of service. She was a long-time member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. SURVIVORS include her brother, Gene R. Gianetti of Muskegon; her aunt, Violet Capua of Flint, MI; and a host of extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gene and Esther Gianetti. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be celebrated 11:00 AM Saturday, March 8, 2008, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church with the Rev. Fr. Michael P. Olson as celebrant. ENTOMBMENT will take place at St. Mary’s Mausoleum. VISITATION with Doris’ family will be 5-8 PM Friday at The Sytsema Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc., 737 Apple Avenue, (231) 726-5210. The Rosary will be prayed at 5:00 PM Friday. Visitation will also be held one hour prior to the Mass, 10-11 AM Saturday at the church.
