Dorothy Ann Harrison's Obituary
Dorothy Ann Harrison, age 89, passed away Sunday morning, July 26, 2020. She was born February 17, 1931 in Ypsilanti, MI to Raymond and Alice (Huntley) Clough. On December 23, 1950, she married Bernard K. Harrison and he preceded her in death in May of 1999. Dorothy was a member of Harbor of Grace – Southern Campus (formerly Our Saviors Lutheran) and was part of the ladies quilting group. She enjoyed spending time at her cabin in the Upper Peninsula and was a wonderful cook and baker, but most importantly, she loved being with her grandchildren, they were the light of her life. SURVIVORS include 2 sons: Mike (Pamela) Harrison of Twin Lake and Bob (Linda) Harrison of North Muskegon; 6 grandchildren: Stephanie (Russell), Melanie (Jeff), Trent (Lisa), Matty (Shona), Nick (Ericka), and Jacob (Chanel); 11 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; 2 sisters: Jean Safern of Los Angeles, CA and Gertrude McManus of Seattle, WA; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. A private family service will be held at a later date. Burial will take place at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in her name to the Memorial Fund at Harbor of Grace Church.
